Anyone for Golf?

Well this was not the start to 2010 that us golfers needed!

This is the view from the clubhouse at Hever Castle Golf Club.
It looks like it could be a while before the course opens so time to hit the gym and do something productive.
Six weeks until my first event of the year in Turkey, I hope the snow goes soon so i can get some good practice session in!

I'm Still Alive!
As you can see its been a while since I have written anything.
A nine month old boy does keep you busy!
I am going to make more effort to keep this blog updated from now on, so if I don't please feel free to call me a slacker.
Now that winter is well on it's way it is important that you make sure you have a good practice plan for the months ahead. Oppotunities to play are limited for most, so make time to visit a floodlit range one evening a week as this will really help you when the weekend arrives.
For those of you that are having lessons with me, remember that I am available in the evenings to teach at the Hilden Golf Centre in Hildenborough.

Good Golfing!

Peter

FW: Pro Am Round Up

Well, the Aegean Pro Am came to a close yesterday and my team were
very pleased with our final score. We set ourselves the target score
of 20 under par but finished one better than that on 21 under par.
Last night the Gala dinner was held and former president of South
Africa Mr. F W De Klerk made a great speech on how much he had enjoyed
playing in the event.
He made a comment that golf was more than just a game, it is a way of
life and I am sure he is right. My team and I certainly feel that we
leave Greece full of great memories on and off the golf course.

Peter.

FW: Lucky?

This is a picture I found in the clubhouse at Porto Carras Golf Club where I am currently playing in the 4th Aegean Pro Am. I think this comment from the great Hogan helps us to understand his work ethic, and that he achieved the heights he did with hard work and not luck! So I'd better take a leaf out of his book and hit the practice ground! Bye for now. Peter.
